Debbie Mueller wasn’t always an artist, an Obstetrician / Gynecologist, she discovered her passion for painting a little later in life. Daughter of an artist mother and crafty father, Mueller pursued many creative hobbies including making mosaics, pottery and photography. Although, it wasn’t until a visit to her parents’ house in February 2016, that she produced her first acrylic painting of a dock at dusk. Since then Mueller hasn’t stopped learning, has transitioned from acrylic to oils and has explored a variety of subjects. She has also studied with numerous artists including; Susan Schwake, Tom Glover, Pamela DuLong Williams, Todd Bonita, Stan Moeller, David Lussier, Sean Beavers and Tim Horn, taking away important lessons from each.
Mueller has had numerous group and solo exhibitions, most recently she exhibited her show “A Love Affair with Home” in 2019 at the Dover Public Library, Dover NH. She is a member of Oil Painters of America, the American Impressionist Society and is a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association.
